In an industry where newer models typically grab headlines, veteran Lakester von Subaru - a 2016 model - is taking the U.S. car modeling world by storm.

Known for evocative poses in stunning landscapes, von Subaru, (who typically goes by first name only) is setting a new industry standard.
"When I landed the website exclusive (with CampSojourn.com) I decided to make the most of it." said Lakester. "I enjoy using lakes and oceans and forests for backdrops."

Lakester especially shines in industry standard "front bumper glamour shot"...

...but is breaking new ground in interior to exterior photographs as well. "Every photo in the 'Side Mirror America' campaign is a work of art." said influencer Josh Rule.
Lakester's go-to photographer, Jenny Rule, has high praise for the model's work ethic. "They go anywhere and push through in tough conditions." Rule, who has faced criticism for her work with an outdated iPhone with a smudged lens, says "Lakester makes me look like a better photographer than I really am."
Whether it's a well-lit, classic highway shot on the Palouse showing every mud splash....

....or a low-light, high drama landscape on a rocky California island....

...Lakester is making bold choices from coast to coast.
The sheer volume of photos from across the U.S. seems to have contributed to von Subaru's breakthrough year. "I took every casting call, posing from any angle, without getting too precious about how I looked or what I was wearing. "Canoes, draped towels, snow...I think it all helps me relate to a wider audience."
Lakester's reach could soon be expanding. "The potential for partnership marketing is vast." said digital marketing expert Luke Rule. "Every brand wants to be the go-to accessory for Lakester." Roof and hood product placement for Yakima and Yeti have already taken place.
Lakester's breakthrough photo shoot took place in Utah in April of 2023.

Later in the year, Lakester also earned praise from industry insiders for posting behind-the-scenes, no make-up shots on Instagram, such as this one in a Tennessee oil change facility. "Self car care is critical to my success."

Lakester's advice for up and coming car models?
"Get up early for sunrises, stay up late for sunsets, and don't shy away from your dings and scratches."

Sojourn on!
